Marissa's Microgreens is where fresh greens meet social change! Founded by Marissa Brown, the first Black woman microgreen farmer in Milwaukee, our mission is clear: to combat food apartheid in disadvantaged economies.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago, Marissa brings a passion for nutritious, sustainable food to every aspect of her business. With Marissa's Microgreens, she aims to not only provide access to fresh, healthy produce but also to address systemic issues of food injustice and inequality.

To Marissa microgreens isn't just a business—it's part of a larger movement. We're proud to be closely affiliated with The Brown People Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through education, entrepreneurship, and social initiatives. Together, we're working to create a more equitable food system and a brighter future for all.
