Tell us about yourself, where you’re from and what you enjoy.
I was born and raised in the Milwaukee area and enjoy community building when I am not busy at the restaurant and spending time with my beautiful family.
Why did you start your business? What makes you passionate about it?
Red Snapper was a household name in the Black community when I was growing up, so when the opportunity presented itself to ensure this household brand didn’t go away and to provide some jobs for people like us in the community we jumped at it.
What do you want people to know about your business?
Red Snapper Fish Company is one of few Black-owned places in the city where you can get great, fresh fish along with friendly great service.
Please explain why your business is important to the community.
Red Snapper was a household name in the Black community for years. Not only is it important to preserve businesses like these, it is also important for us to grow them so that we can offer more job opportunities for people in our community. Give us a try today.
